Sewing and a Little More
with Georgia Gingrich
Students will create two projects during the weekend, a Casserole Tote and a Simple Apron.
Tote: Create a handy tote for your favorite 9” x 13” casserole dish. Perfect for potlucks, holiday gatherings or toting to grandma's house. It works with hot or cold dishes and even has a pocket for a serving spoon. Your fabric choices are endless.
Apron: This simple apron is reversible, so put your fruits and vegetables on one side & dessert on the other.
There will be an embroidery machine available during class for you to add an embellishment.
Students will need to bring fabric and materials for each project. A list of needed materials will be mailed to students prior to the class. Students may bring their own sewing machine or may use a school sewing machine.
