Lace Knitting
with Dianna Smith
Knitted lace adds elegance and interest to any project. This class will focus on the basics of lace knitting, key stitch combinations and hints for making perfect lace even for less experienced knitters. Students will begin a lace sampler that can be carried on after the class to create the perfect place to try out new lace patterns. Subjects will include choosing a lace pattern to fit a project, styles of lace and how to block a finished project. Students may want to bring a variety of needle sizes to experiment with different yarns.
